Labs offer many unique challenges and opportunities as they are very energy intensive and research driven. The Green Labs Program wants to share the initiatives and practices labs across the campus have already undertaken to highlight how we can build a more sustainable campus community.

Whether it is implementing a two stream glass and plastic washing system to reduce autoclaving needs and increase product life, or organizing a sample tracking system for your ultra low temperature freezers to reduce energy consumption through multiple, extended openings, there are many ways to engage.

Check out some of our Green Lab Leaders below and see if there is something new you can try in your lab!
