Mission Statement

The Council of Student Sustainability Leaders (CSSL) is a partnership between the Harvard Office for Sustainability and Harvard's undergraduate and graduate student environmental community—those students dedicated to personal and institutional action on Harvard's sustainability commitments.

CSSL provides an opportunity to connect and network with sustainability leaders—students, faculty, and administration and to provide feedback and recommendations on Harvard's climate, health, and sustainability initiatives. This year’s CSSL will work primarily on the fossil fuel-free climate goals and the Sustainable and Healthful Food Standards, among other emerging campus priorities.
