Renwick Wilson

I am a junior concentrating in Environmental Science and Public Policy. Since high school, I have been involved in numerous sustainability initiatives.  Subjects that are particularly important to me include renewable energies, reducing greenhouse gases and helping to increase sustainability and resiliency within communities. Currently, I am an Associate Director for Harvard Consulting on Business and the Environment, a student research partner at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, a writer for The Crimson, and a member of the Harvard Men’s Club Lacrosse team.

Last summer, I interned for the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection in its Bureau of Energy and Technology.  Some of my prior environmentally related activities include working as a research assistant for Harvard’s Forest and Atmospheric Research Group, interning for a manufacturer of solar and other renewable energy products, conducting research for an environmental consulting group on clean energies and assisting a municipality in its efforts to reduce its carbon emissions and increase its sustainable transportation initiatives. I have been certified by the US Green Building Council as a LEED Green Associate and this will be my second year serving on Harvard’s Council of Student Sustainability Leaders.
