Catherine Cabano is a Masters candidate at Harvard Extension School. She is completing her Management degree along with two graduate certificates in Innovation/Entrepreneurship and Real Estate Investment. While balancing her time at Harvard, Catherine works full-time for a multinational Fortune 500 company as a Regulatory Quality Lead for food and personal care products. She earned a Bachelor's degree as a distinguished honors scholar in Animal Science with a concentration in Food Science. Her undergraduate thesis focusing on humanely-raised cattle granted her the opportunity to present her research in the United Kingdom to a large audience of international researchers. Catherine also has prior policy work experience within the United States Senate, as well as The Humane Society of the United States.
Catherine is passionate about sustainability, especially food sourcing, animal welfare, waste reduction, renewable energy, regenerative agriculture and corporate responsibility. In her free time, she can be found promoting a plant-based/organic lifestyle, petting dogs, discussing real estate investments and participating in fitness classes. She looks forward to joining CSSL and working towards a more sustainable Harvard.
