I am currently a student in the Master of Landscape Architecture I AP program at Harvard Graduate School of Design (class of 2018). I studied architecture during undergraduate at University of Virginia. My recent experience includes participating in the SOM Women's Initiative Winter Shadowing Program and member of the GSD Women in Design student group, working on the "Firm Report Card" project, exploring design firms that advocate for families and gender equity in their practice, which could be disseminated to the larger design field. I have always been interested with how design can serve a critical role in improving spaces for human habitation and concurrently help address challenges facing society. My design agenda has been both ecological and environmental. I am working on making current researches on the detrimental effects of climate change on the global environment into temporal and visual representations. Aline is committed to recycling and to promoting greater awareness of sustainability practices.
