  • 2016 - Harvard awarded an outstanding case study for avoiding chemical flame retardants on campus from the Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council
  • 2016 - Harvard Dining Services honored by the National Association of College & University Food Services with a Gold level Sustainability Award for Procurement Practices for its model sustainable seafood program. 
  • 2016 - Harvard recognized by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency with an Environmental Merit Award for its use of biodiesel as a fuel for 75 vehicles, including shuttles.
